2006 is looking to be another busy year in our neck of the woods. Here's a look at what is on deck, more info soon:
SUPER CHRON 
Priviledge and billy woods are
the Super Chron Flight Brothers, able to roll up faster than your blinds. The
album is more than halfway done and already features incredible production
from 007, DJ Marmaduke, DR MONOKROME and Goldenchild, among others. Suffice
it to say that in true backwoodz studioz fashion, the concept is bannanas and
both Edge and woods are in rare form. One of the few guestspots on the record
has already gone to Cannibal OX. Holla Ill!
GHOST CITY 
In
this new millennium, technological advancements have started to become more
foe than friend. Mistakes have been made, and will not go overlooked…enter
the age of Ghost City. Innovative Backwoodz artist, Keith Masters creates a
narrative through the near future of American culture. With major cities in
rubble, mankind faces its greatest battle yet, warring against “ghosts” of
the past, as well as self-governed robots. Featuring production from Dr. Monokrome,
Belief, 007, as well as others, Ghost City promises to paint the grim, yet
realistic picture of our future.
BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE... A 12" with Hasan Salaam and Akir joining forces is high on our priority list, so we'll try to get that out there soon. Goldenchild's LP is on the way and though we don't know who will be putting it out yet, we have heard several tracks and they are amazing. And of course, another SoundClash or two (we have some dope ones in mind). Plenty more is in the works including Def Jux/Uncommon Records producer Nasa and billy woods doing an EP together.
